On January 29, 2025 at approximately 03:17 local time, ihazpaws experienced a complete service disruption affecting 100% of production infrastructure. Services were restored at 07:44 following emergency intervention.
Root cause analysis has concluded. The primary rack server in Bay 3 was knocked off its shelf by Captain Floof (VP of Gravity Operations) during what internal logs describe as "a routine 3am zoomie incident." The server impacted a secondary switch on the way down, triggering a cascade failure consistent with our documented Gravity-Driven Deployment methodology.
Captain Floof has been formally notified. He did not appear concerned. He has been fed.
As a result of this incident, ihazpaws has updated its infrastructure resilience policy to include: (1) rubber matting under all rack-mounted hardware, (2) a designated zoomie corridor on the opposite side of the server room, and (3) an acknowledgment that this will happen again.
ihazpaws thanks its users for their patience during this period and reminds them that our SLA explicitly excludes incidents occurring between 02:00 and 05:00, which we designate as the Zoomie Window. Please review Section 7(c) of the Paws-Clause.
