API Reference

All endpoints return meow. This is by design. Base URL: https://api.ihazpaws.dev/v1

GET /meow

Returns a standard meow. The workhorse of the API.

POST /meow/urgent

Posts an urgent meow. High-priority requests: tuna, laser dot, suspicious noise outside.

GET /meow/philosophical

Returns a contemplative meow. For async operations and existential queries.

DELETE /meow/{id}

Deletes a meow by ID. The meow is not deleted. It is simply ignored, which is different.

WebSocket endpoint. Streams a continuous purr. May disconnect without warning when nap starts.

GET /hiss

Returns 403 Forbidden. Always. Maintained exclusively by Mittens.

403: HISSSSS
Unauthorized. Mittens is watching you.

Rate Limits

Rate limited to however many requests Dr. Purr-a-lot feels like processing today. On average: between 0 and meow requests per hour. Header: X-Ratelimit-Remaining: meow. Premium tuna subscribers receive priority processing (still meow, but faster).
